Enjoy this Kangaroo Island Wildlife Highlights day tour with Cape Cassini Wilderness Retreat Tours. Travel to Seal Bay to walk on a sandy beach with your small group, amongst the wild Australian Sea Lions. Time to ask your special questions and take great photos of the experience while learning about their unusual breeding cycle. Watch groups of sea lions where pups feed from mothers, identify breeding males, sub adult males and juveniles interacting on the beach or in the shallows. We have morning tea at Bales Bay, Vivonne Bay or Little Sahara. Lunch at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you may feed a kangaroo, pat a koala, see an echidna, eagles and a Glossy Black cockatoo up close. Travel to Stokes Bay and walk through a mysterious rock tunnel to a wonderful swimming beach for all the family. Then off to observe koalas and on to Lathami Conservation Park to look for endangered Glossy Black cockatoos. We should see lots of Tammar wallabies and some kangaroos too.
Operates: Departs Cape Cassini Wilderness Retreat or Kingscote Airport, daily on demand at 9.15am and returns at 5.45pm during April to October and 6.45pm during November to March.
